Under Pillar II of the\u00a0<\/span>Horizon Europe programme<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>which supports research into societal challenges and strengthens technological and industrial capacities.Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and the environment.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n This cluster aims to reduce environmental degradation, halt and reverse the decline in biodiversity on land, inland waters and at sea, and better manage natural resources through economic and societal transformations in urban and rural areas.<\/p>\n It will ensure food and nutritional security for all within planetary limits, based on knowledge, innovation and digitalisation in agriculture, fisheries, aquaculture and food systems. It will guide and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient circular economy and a sustainable bioeconomy, including in the forestry sector.<\/p>\n The research and innovation activities carried out as part of Cluster 6 will contribute to the objectives of the\u00a0<\/span>Green Pact for Europe<\/a>This is particularly the case in relation to the strategy to promote\u00a0<\/span>biodiversity by 2030<\/a>strategy\u00a0<\/span>From farm to table<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>“on\u00a0<\/span>European Climate Pact<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and initiatives aimed at sustainable industry and the elimination of pollution.
